PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This exciting VE study was facilitated for the New York City Mayor's Office of Management and Budget and their client agency the Economic Development Council (EDC) under a Task Order Contract with MENG Analysis.

The scope of work was particularly interesting considering it examined not only alternative means and methods of deconstruction, but also preservation of historical elements that could be utilized in the future Heritage Park that will occupy the site following deconstruction. The study explored various methods of the sale of memorabilia to offset the costs of deconstruction as well as preparation for the site and future civil utilities.

MENG Analysis developed $73,777,000 worth of cost saving proposals.
