MENG Analysis led a five day value analysis training seminar and study focusing on the Optiva Corporation's Sonicare Toothbrush. The seminar taught Optiva’s staff VA methodology and the study worked to find cost-effective design and manufacturing alternatives for the Sonicare product.

The study resulted in over 240 suggestions, from manufacturing process, to design, to packaging. As a result the company set up action teams to follow through and implement many of the VA proposals.
