PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Chimacum School District engaged MENG Analysis to conduct a FCA of selected District-owned facilities. The purpose of this FCA was to support District staff with proactive management of the District’s facility assets, including planning and budgeting for short-term correction of Maintenance Backlog, and long-term major maintenance. MENG Analysis provided 5-year and 20-year cost summaries to allow the District to plan for future renovations and replacements. The report also presented decision making indicators such as Weighted Average Condition Scores and Facility Condition Index to help rank and prioritize projects to fit the District’s upcoming levy process. Facilities assessed include the elementary school, middle school, high school, stadiums, gyms, maintenance building, and transportation building.
