PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The scope for this project was to renovate existing Building 26, and build additional three-story building to support consolidation of Health and Life Science programs. The original building will have most areas affected by demolition work to provide new interior spaces, new classrooms, and labs along with new staff offices.

Along with new interior spaces, the exterior addition will also include new wall assemblies and finishes including new polycarbonate panel system and reuse of some exterior CMU wall construction. The HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems will all be new and served by 15kV primary power from the main campus. All new low voltage systems, utility connections and walkways to the various floor level access points into the building will be added.
