PROJECT DESCRIPTION
LaGuardia Airport capital redevelopment program provided improved airport facilities for both public and airline users. For this study, MENG Analysis was able to identify airside, landside, terminal building, infrastructure, and construction planning and design alternatives that may offer first-cost or life cycle cost benefits and/or improve project quality.
The redevelopment program included:

Demolition of the existing CTB and associated infrastructure

Construction of a new 1.3 million square foot, 35 gate terminal building

A new aeronautical ramp

Frontage roads that will serve the new terminal
